Located in the heart of Lisbon, in the charming neighborhood of Príncipe Real, what was once an old printing shop, is today an open studio open to the sharing of projects in the area of gastronomy, sustainability and slow living
Our mission is to promote the coming together of creative and inspiring people in the world of food.
We felt the need to provide a space for those who want to learn more about food and exchange their thoughts and concerns with regards to the food industry and bring to light bright ideas. Our goal is to help develop a “taste education”
Intimist
A Sociedade is the perfect place for intimist meetings, workshops, products / brands releases, pop up stores, photo sessions, team buildings, lunches or dinners with a private chef. The simplicity of the space atmosphere provides a relaxed and comfortable environment.
With free wi-fi access, Sonos sound system and a gastronomic library with more than 400 portuguese and international cookbooks. In the space there are also 3 solid wood walls that can serve as background, creating a more cozy setting for a photo shoot or event
The light
Being a street space, its large glass showcase allows the abundant entrance of natural light, making the front of the space the perfect location for the products exhibition or welcome area. At the rear, three large skylights flood this area with diffused natural light. The walls and white floor reinforce even more the clarity of the environment, creating a perfect light for photo shoots
At the table
For events sitting at the table, the space receives up to 24 seats. The rustic wooden tables are positioned in front of the American style kitchen, where guests can see and interact with chefs, creating an informal atmosphere around the kitchen
